Emmanuel Chuch’s Lindsey Chapel is available for weddings, commitment ceremonies, and blessings
of civil marriage. If you are planning a ceremony, we hope you will consider Emmanuel Church.
Emmanuel is an open church, and we invite all, regardless of their religious affiliation, to hold their wedding
ceremony here. Emmanuel also welcomes and has celebrated same-sex unions since 1981.
We welcome clergy of all denominations to celebrate the service at Emmanuel.
Upon consultation Emmanuel's clergy are also available to officiate at weddings .
All music at weddings and commitment ceremonies is under the direction of Emmanuel’s organist.
If you would like a copy of our wedding brochure or would like to schedule a visit or
have any questions, please send an email to our wedding coordinator, who will soon get back to you.
Lindsey Chapel: Its History & Architecture
includes images of its beautiful windows and an index of the many saints portrayed in them or as statues in its reredos.
Our History & Archives Commission is searching for memoirs,
photographs, and newspaper announcements from couples married at
Emmanuel, their families, and members of their wedding parties. We have found it fun and instructive to talk about weddings that have taken place at Emmanuel with visitors to Lindsey Chapel and Emmanuel. We hope to share some of your recollections on our website. Please contact our Parish Historian, Mary Chitty.
